Earth to Meagan!
HOLE-EEE HAN-NAH. This is officially the longest I've gone without blogging... I really don't feel bad about it, per say, although I can definitely say I've missed it!
Let me give you a short synopsis of what I've been doing over this long blogging break:
(Insert super fun, exciting, time-consuming life that has preoccupied the time I would otherwise use to write up a blog post occasionally.).....
Nope. I got nothin'. Which is part of the reason I've been so skimpy on my notes... It's SO hard to post them when I'm not leaving the vicinity of my house/neighborhood!
However, I've been out for occasional youth baseball games, ice cream, gas station stops, and teaching summer school, so I don't have any great excuses for my slacking.
BUT, we've already agreed to a no-guilt policy when it comes to these Post-its. So here I am... Not feeling guilty!
Anyway, so far, my summer has been a whole lotta bummin' and doing a whole lotta nothin'. It sounds good... For about a day. And then my adventurous/spontaneous/sick-of-small-town-life self kicks in.
Hopefully, with a summer job starting in (more to come about that!) and hopefully more exploring outside of my little town, I'll have more opportunities to put up notes... Because I really do love it!
I'm working with what I have, though, and was able to get a note up in a gas station bathroom this afternoon. I think I've written something similar to this before... But I liked it.
Back to that summer job--I'll actually be counseling at camp for majority of the weekends this summer. This is good, in that, hopefully I'll find myself in several situations in which the posting of a sticky note is in order... However, this means less blogging!
I leave tomorrow and won't be home until Sunday. Depending on how absolutely drained I may or may not be, I'll try to get some sort of post in Sunday afternoonish.
Okay, well that's the low-down as of now. I haven't totally abandoned the mission... But trying to interweave it into my extremely boring/busy schedule. (There's never a happy medium!)
Talk to you soon, okay?
Meagan

I'm so glad to see this updated post. I was getting a bit nervous for awhile! I can't wait to hear about the post-its at camp. Think of how influential they'll be to the campers...so cool.
ReplyDeleteI figured you'd be a little worried. I was surprised you hadn't checked in to see if I'd fallen off the planet! No worries... I never forget anything. Baha!
