Doing my part to make the world a better place—whether it be by a total epiphany or a simple smile—I've found a hobby in leaving simple Post-it notes. On these Post-its are written words of kindess, love, and encouragement, in hopes that it may bring a little light to whoever may find it. Since this objective took flight, I've additionally enjoyed simply sharing daily occurances that make life beautiful. Do take what you can from my silly, messy, and scatterbrained story. If nothing else, may it encourage you to embrace your own.

1, 2, 3...

Today presented a new dilemma for my Post-it hiding self.
Where to hide it?

I began to pace back and forth throughout my indecisive mind, worrying over who really needed encouragement for the day and where they'd be most likely to find it. What should be done almost by impulse, I was allowing myself to get worked up over. Silly, silly me! After careful contemplation, I realized that it doesn't matter where I leave the sticky note. If someone is meant to find it, they will find it. Don't let me forget that, okay? They will find it, they will find it, they will find it...

Today's Post-it read "You ARE enough. I promise." It was framed on pink paper and Scotch-taped it to a drinking fountain. I've included a picture of the sticky note (kudos to a good friend, Brittany, for this idea. She'll probably come up multiple times throughout these posts—my favorite partner in crime!) Hopefully this will allow you to get a sense of how simple, down-to-earth, and yet impacting one of these little gifts can be.

Oh, yeah—the title for today's post, "1, 2, 3..." not only represents my third Post-it, but also is a good symbol for my job as the 'Post-it leaver.' (Proper English? I think not.) Picking spots to dispense the sticky notes serves almost as a game of hide-and-seek. On my end, I'm the hider. And on someone else's end, who doesn't even know it yet, they're the seeker. Does that make sense? It does in my head, but that's coming from the girl who is virtually talking to herself. :-)

It's true, this project may look like an endless Easter egg hunt, but I'd like to believe that this Easter Bunny can touch a heart with something a bit more long-term than jelly beans and new socks.

Have a "hoppy" Wednesday evening,

(Was that a step too far? Maybe I need to take a nap... Ha.)
