Doing my part to make the world a better place—whether it be by a total epiphany or a simple smile—I've found a hobby in leaving simple Post-it notes. On these Post-its are written words of kindess, love, and encouragement, in hopes that it may bring a little light to whoever may find it. Since this objective took flight, I've additionally enjoyed simply sharing daily occurances that make life beautiful. Do take what you can from my silly, messy, and scatterbrained story. If nothing else, may it encourage you to embrace your own.

Life's Checklist

Hello, hello!

I'm sitting down to write this post in our guest bedroom watching the sun set. It's about 10 minutes to 7:00, but feels much earlier due to the wonderful sunshine. A big glass of ice water to my right and the window on my left, I can breathe. Do you ever feel like you could just be in one place, doing something you enjoy for days on end? That's sort of how I feel right now. So lovely.

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of today's Post-it. After positioning it at the beginning of the day, it was gone by the time I got around to snapping a shot!

Now, I'd like to believe that someone picked it up and now has it taped to the front of their 5-subject notebook. Is this realistic? It could be. Is there a chance some immature, high school boy pulled it off and tossed it in the garbage? Yes, that's possible, too. But I think I'll just pretend it got to who it was suppose to.

The yellow note said, "Brush your teeth. Wear sunscreen. And don't forget to dream." I decorated it with two yellow stars and a few simple leaves. (I must've been feeling a little "green.") Maybe whoever picked it up will go through that mental checklist sometime during their life... Maybe.

As far as my current checklist goes:
  • Post-it for the day—check
  • Survive another day of high school—check
  • Squeeze in some good hang time with a friend—check
  • Nice, long run—check
  • Write down a few of my own dreams—check (So very good. Do try it!)
  • Do some laundry, cleaning, and other general housework—Ugh... Better start somewhere! :-)

Have a fantastic night and sweet dreams!

Meagan
